Spending is great isn’t it? Those brand new things, that new snowboard, those jeans or whatever else you might like to spend your cash (or credit) on. Shopping and buying new things is so much fun. Each year when I see the post Christmas rush it reminds me how much we love the sales and love buying things that we don’t really need – it’s still great fun though.
I’m sure that you have, like me, been caught up the in the ‘sparkle’ and excitement of shopping and bought something that you later regret? I remember buying a really expensive pair of brown pants (sassy I know!). They looked great on the manikin in the shop and somehow I managed to squeeze into them and convince myself that they were worth the huge price tag. It is amazing how much better we look in shop mirrors. Don’t be disheartened, it happens to us all. There are whole departments and millions and millions of dollars spent to try and get you to buy a product – it’s a huge business.
What we do need to remember is to try and stay within our budget and not to get too attached to what you are buying.

what are you saying?
